Grief Support Groups

Solace House provides support groups in which members participate based on their age, type of loss, and unique circumstances related to the death of a loved one. A therapeutic curriculum guides participants through discussions and activities that allow for peer support as well as individual healing.

Most families participate two times per month for one to two years with support groups held in the evening. Adults may attend with or without children; however, all children must be accompanied by an adult. There is no set fee to participate in support groups but donations are encouraged.

Counseling

Individuals and families participating in the support group program may request individual and/or family counseling services at Solace House. Counseling sessions allow families to focus on issues that require individual attention in a private setting. Counseling is available for a sliding scale fee.
